Amanda Cavaleri is an entrepreneur in Bitcoin mining and COO of an alternative asset management firm. Cavaleri is also coauthor of Bitcoin and The American Dream as well as founding board member of the Bitcoin Today Coalition, a C4 nonprofit focusing on education of policymakers in Washington, DC. She has worked alongside pioneers in cryptography, machine learning, and open source technologies. Cavaleri is a former Thought Leader with Carnegie Mellon University & UPMC’s Quality of Life Technology Center and Innovation Fellow with AARP.
Cavaleri holds a Master of Science in Technology Commercialization from the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs Business School. Cavaleri has a broad range of experience at the intersection of global shifting demographics and emerging markets/technology. Cavaleri thrives when finding opportunities in fast-paced, challenging environments. For the past decade, she has worked on consumer-facing technology products ranging from machine learning and VOIP startups to smart home and new media (AR/VR) products. She serves as an advisor to tech companies and investors interested in targeting new B2C and B2B GTM & sales opportunities.
Cavaleri is passionate about connecting the 50+/Longevity marketplace (this cohort controls most of the US GDP) to useful products and services, and connecting those services to this growing market segment. She was recognized as a Top 50 Influencer in Aging by PBS and Enterprise Strategy and Innovation Fellow with AARP where she worked to solve the skills and culture gap within a multigenerational workforce. She has consulted with consumer electronics companies, real estate developers, startups, and family offices. She has also been involved in academic development as a Thought Leader and Advisor with Carnegie Mellon University and UPMC’s Quality of Life Technology Center and Innovation and Business Partner with University of Denver’s Knoebel Institute for Healthy Aging.
