Sid Bhattacharya leads the global Products and Solutions business at AWS focused on Energy and Utility customers.

He’s a Petroleum and Mechanical Engineer by background, having worked in the field in the early part of his career at BP and ExxonMobil.

This was followed up by a foray into technology, first as the founder and CEO of a company focused on Asset Abandonment and Risk Analytics and then at Accenture leading their Data Science efforts, focused on their natural resources business.

Sid is also a trained economist, with a Master’s Degree in Energy Economics, from Rice University.
